PCA America contacted The CODE Group to facilitate a conversation related to equity with their board as well as provide guidance to the organization related to topics of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The CODE Group met with PCA America leadership to fully understand their challenges and concerns. An approach and agenda were created to facilitate a conversation with the PCA America board. Within the organization The CODE Group partnered with the PCA America Employee Social Justice (ESJ) Team, facilitating monthly meetings to strategically advise and consult the employee resource group on potential initiatives. As a result of this collaboration The CODE Group created a Social Justice, DEI cultural assessment to identify potential challenges and areas of opportunity. Over the course of three months The CODE Group:
The CODE Group distributed the survey to all staff with a 71% participation rate, findings and recommendations were well received setting PCA America on a path to create Social Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategic plan and goals to address racial equity.
