The Request / The Need

Leadership at HOPE, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting positive childhood experiences, engaged The CODE Group to support their National Advisory Board in facilitating meaningful discussions on organizational values and mission alignment. After an introduction to The CODE Group through a facilitated board meeting led by Jessica and Chris, HOPE sought assistance in structuring and guiding conversations to ensure a collaborative and productive dialogue among board members.

The CODE / The Approach

To set the stage for open and effective discussions, The CODE Group collaborated with HOPE leadership to develop a strategic facilitation plan. This began with a virtual National Board Meeting, introducing The CODE Group’s approach and methodology. This initial session laid the groundwork for deeper, solution-focused discussions at the following in-person advisory board meeting.

The Results

The CODE Group successfully facilitated both meetings, providing structure and guidance for navigating complex discussions and helping board members align on key organizational priorities. Through these sessions, the HOPE Foundation identified actionable strategies to address challenges, strengthen leadership engagement, and reinforce a shared commitment to their mission and values.
