Wheelhouse Group (WHG) leadership reached out to The CODE Group inquiring about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) capabilities. Leadership was unaware of any issues but acknowledged a non-diverse staff, specific to gender and race, and open to address any potential blind spots.
The CODE Group met with WHG to fully understand their challenges and concerns and suggested conducting an organizational cultural assessment to identify potential challenges and areas of opportunity. Over the course of six weeks the CODE Group:
The CODE Groups recommendations were very well received with WHG taking a very aggressive and proactive approach to implementation. The CODE Group was further engaged to deliver in-person and virtual training sessions on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA), Unconscious Bias, and Difficult Conversation to WHG. The majority of Wheelhouse Group staff were trained over the course of four months.
